ABOUT CHRIS LUCIA
When Chris went to college, he studied psychology as an elective during his first semester which quickly became his major. By age 19, he was working with individuals with autism and schizophrenia. Chris’ passion for understanding people evolved into motivating others, particularly in group settings and organizations. Upon graduating college, Chris obtained his MBA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology to study the impact of people in business environments. He started to work in Human Resources for Financial Services and Technology companies, learning various components of the field such as payroll, benefits, recruiting and employee relations.
In 2002, Chris continued working in Human Resources but transitioned into the world of fashion and retail, working for companies such as L Brands (Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, formerly Express and The Limited), Macy’s and Ross Stores. Bringing his demeanor to the fast-paced world of retail, Chris was viewed as an empowering business partner with a respectful style.
Chris’ curiosity took him into the world of coaching where he has been practicing with clients across the country in personal and professional settings. Sometimes people feel like they are not in the “right” job. Sometimes people may not be accomplishing as much as they would like to be. Sometimes they need additional tools on how to lead and motivate their teams. Often times, people don’t realize that they have the power and potential to make changes and create what and how they want their lives to be.
People should know they can take control. People should know they have the ability to make changes if they want to. Chris provides the tools, time and space for people to achieve their full potential.
